Integration of multiple filters into an assembly or box

Rarely does a 100% off-the-shelf power filter completely satisfy the mechanical, electrical, and power requirements and constraints of a sophisticated OEM design. At Spectrum Control, we are focused on providing a complete solution that considers all factors. Whether modifying an existing power filter design, working from a “clean sheet” approach, or integrating various technologies into a subassembly, the result is a custom solution that will be tailored to your project’s design, logistics, and budgetary requirements.

Custom filter arrays with associated electronic products and interconnects and/or housings

Spectrum Control will custom-design filter arrays (sometimes referred to as filter plates) that meets your size, material and filtering requirements. We have engineered a variety of capacitive-only filter elements that provide excellent RF isolation from 5 MHz to 1 GHz and beyond. In addition, we are capable of providing stringent testing and analysis of our filter plate assemblies to MIL-PRF-15733 and MIL-PRF-28861.

In addition to our standard and custom filter plates, we offer several value-added features designed to complement your manufacturing operation. Our marketing and engineering staff will evaluate your design or manufacturing parameters and develop a filter solution that provides increased filtering performance economically.

EMC evaluations on your equipment, recommending proper placement of EMI/RFI filtering
