DC Blocking Attenuators
Spectrum Control’s DC-blocking attenuators combine the signal-reduction capability of an attenuator with the DC isolation properties of a DC block. These attenuators protect RF components in the signal chain from DC surges and spikes while simultaneously reducing RF signal power to more manageable levels.
Providing repeatable attenuation across a wide operating band is critical. Spectrum Control’s DC-blocking attenuators are designed to operate from DC to 2000 MHz, wider than many competing designs. These industry-leading attenuators are available in values from 1 dB to 20 dB and use high-quality capacitors that present an open circuit to DC while maintaining proper attenuation of RF signals.
Spectrum Control’s DC-blocking attenuators provide voltage protection up to 200 volts while maintaining low reflection performance, with VSWR as low as 1.1:1.
