These precision attenuators feature positive mechanical stops between steps and offer the industry’s widest attenuation range (0 to 99 dB), with frequency coverage through 18 GHz (Ku band) to provide broadband capability for RF applications.

Spectrum Control’s manual attenuators are available in panel-mount or bench configurations, and each design is bidirectional, enabling exceptional versatility and load control in a compact package. Spectrum Control’s manual attenuators provide highly repeatable accuracy, with performance as precise as ±0.3 dB, and market-leading maximum insertion loss as low as 0.3 dB.

These high-performance attenuators support peak incident power ratings up to 200 watts and an MTBF exceeding 1,000,000 steps. Designed with phase integrity in mind, they offer incremental phase shift of approximately 0.5° per dB and best-in-class repeatable accuracy of ±0.05 dB across the band throughout the product’s lifetime.

Spectrum Control manual attenuators also maintain exceptional VSWR as low as 1.2:1, ensuring a low reflection coefficient during operation.
