Coaxial termination for low temperature environments. Products have SMA connector with DC-18 GHz, and 2 watt power. Cryo terminations have stable attenuation over temperature, low thermal noise characteristics and minimal self-healing, achieves temperature faster.

To perform effectively, a 50-ohm terminator must deliver repeatable performance, flat frequency response, and wideband stability. Low VSWR (1.1:1) is critical, ensuring a well-matched load that absorbs RF energy without reflecting it back into the signal path. Poor VSWR can introduce reflections that distort amplitude, shift phase, and degrade overall signal integrity.

These reflections can create standing waves, potentially stressing upstream components or pushing amplifiers beyond their intended operating limits. Spectrum Control’s ultra-low VSWR (1.1:1) terminations help maintain phase linearity and spectral purity across frequencies up to 65 GHz. Consistent VSWR over frequency is essential to minimize ripple and prevent signal distortion in high-performance applications.
