Temperature variable chip attenuator with DC-12 GHz frequency, 2 watt power, and 9 dB attenuation. This surface-mount resistive component has silver terminal, no backside metallization, with Alumina substrate and thick resistor film. Chip attenuators are designed to compensate reduction of gain by 0.5dB/dB and compensate for temperature induced system gain variation without requiring a bias or control voltage.
