Statement from Spectrum Control Inmet:

All catalog products shipped after January 2013 conform to the requirements as specified in Directive 2011/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2011 and related Annex and Amendments on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).  All catalog products shipped between July 2006 and January 2013 conformed to Directive 2002/95/EC.

The information presented on this website is believed to be accurate, reliable and is a result of review of numerous sources including vendor submitted data sheets and certifications.

Notes:

  1. Bias tee, DC block, and equalizer products are not considered standard catalog product for the purpose of this statement
  2. Some bias tee, DC block, and equalizer products may be RoHS compliant. Please direct questions to Inmetsales@apitech.com
  3. Surface Mount products are available with RoHS compliant and non RoHS compliant terminations. Please refer to product specific data sheets.

 

Statement from Spectrum Control Weinschel:

Spectrum Control's Weinschel brand products are classified as Monitoring and Control Equipment (Category 9 of the WEEE Directive, which includes measuring, weighing, or adjusting appliances for household or as laboratory equipment) which is excluded from the RoHS Directive.  However, APITech is in the process of evaluating materials and processes to achieve RoHS compliance while maintaining our performance and quality standards.

RoHS compliance of products may be by exemption as stated in the Directive’s annex, Point 6 (lead as an alloying element in steel containing up to 0.35% lead by weight, aluminum containing up to 0.4% lead by weight, and as a copper alloy containing up to 4% lead by weight); and/or Point 7 (lead in electronic ceramic parts); and/or Point 8 modified by Commission Decision of 21 October 2005 (Cadmium and its compounds in electrical contacts).
