Class S is outlined in MIL-F-28861 and is prescribed for space/mission critical requirements. This reliability level includes all of the testing of Class B but also specifies complete baseline documentation for both capacitor manufacturing as well as filter manufacturing. Capacitor manufacturing is also controlled to MIL-C-123 which includes additional screening on the ceramic capacitors.
