Toll Road Automation System
Application of the PDU facilitates remote operation of the
Toll Hut where in the event a significant increase in traffic queue is
observed; additional Huts may be brought on line remotely with out need for
additional manpower. When traffic is once again at a manageable level they
would be able to power down the un-necessary Toll Huts.
The system actually compensates for many operator
errors typically encountered in these remote environments, with out the need to
dispatch additional field resources for minor service interruptions. The
LAN-tech is able to intervene from a remote site and facilitate a complete
power cycle to hung devices in the Toll-Hut.
